About Amy
Amy has a natural warmth that immediately puts people at ease. Her calm, compassionate presence creates a safe space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to begin their healing journey. She approaches therapy with empathy, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story.
As a clinical intern, Amy provides thoughtful, inclusive care under the supervision of experienced clinicians. She works with individuals, couples, and families, and has a special interest in women’s issues, eating disorders, body image, infertility counseling, anxiety treatment, depression, LGBTQIA+ therapy, ADHD/Autism, faith transitions and explorations, and trauma recovery. In her eating disorder therapy and body image counseling, she supports clients in cultivating self-compassion and a healthier relationship with food and their bodies.
Amy integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS-informed therapy) and evidence-based approaches to help clients explore their emotions and experiences with compassion and clarity. She is passionate about providing an inclusive, affirming space where clients from all backgrounds feel safe and respected.
Her work with children through play therapy allows younger clients to process emotions, build confidence, and express themselves creatively.
Clients describe Amy as genuine, insightful, and deeply kind. Her ability to hold space for both pain and growth helps clients rediscover resilience, self-acceptance, and hope.
Whether you are navigating infertility, identity, faith transitions, anxiety, eating disorder recovery, or trauma, Amy offers a grounded and compassionate presence. She would be honored to walk beside you as you move toward healing, balance, and personal growth.
